SURVIVAL TIPS FOR THE LAND LOCKED MERMAID: BATH TIME
Baths are a stranded mermaids’ quickest connection to the sea! Shown above is LUSH’s Big Blue bath bomb. I highly recommend it for when you’re trapped inland and really craving the ocean. It smells fantastic and refreshing, just like a sea breeze. It even has real bits of arame seaweed stuffed inside! Let me break down the pictures for you:
The bath bomb as is. It’s about baseball sized and you can just make out a few of the seaweed strands.
The bath water after the bath bomb was added and had fully fizzled. Look at that color! Keep in mind, my tub is a greenish color to start with, so the water looks a little darker/more green than it might in a different colored tub.
You can see a bunch of that seaweed collected at the bottom. That’s not even all of it.
And check out the white “sea foam” effect on top of the water! That will eventually dissipate.
You can see the water against my super pale legs to get a better idea of the color. Notice how the white foam has started to break up.
Look at all that seaweed! It’ll get stuck to you and the tub, so be sure to rinse yourself and your bath area after you’re done.
Close up of the seaweed pieces. They’re all about an inch long and super fun to squash. I kept mushing them between my fingers.
Keep an eye out for the follow up to this post! I’ll be sharing a video of this bath bomb combined with another LUSH product that will give the bath a extra hint of mermaid magic!
